Was originally looking for an sti for about 6 months and couldn't find one that met my criteria ( one owner under 30k miles ). Co-worker knew I was looking and wanted to sell his evo (one owner , 30k miles, mint) so I went on a test drive to the bank and brought him back the money haha.

DfunctionEvo wait time

Well, i searched for one whole year so find my baby! I could have bought one that was already moded but that wasnt what i wanted! I bought my Evo in February 2013 after a long search. My attractions: Low mileage, all stock, clean title, and garage kept!

Didn't take long at all. Once I decided it was time to jump in I found it on craigslist within three days.

Six months. Yes, it sucks waiting, but it's worth it when you find the perfect car for you. I found a garage kept, one owner, bone stock, 66k mile car.

Took me about 3 weeks searching daily on autotrader, cars.com and on the evom forums (which I eventually found it on).

In the meantime, I watched as much video's and read up on as much articles as I could about the IX since that's what I knew I wanted to buy.

And then of course, started building a parts wishlist, which no matter how hard I try to chip away at it, it keeps growing!

Good luck, be patient and do your homework about the car!

I was looking for a good 4-6 months and I ended up getting impatient. I ended up buying a car that I thought was in good shape and failed to do ALL the thorough inspections and ended up with a lot to fix/clean!

I really should have just bought dsmbruno's and been extremely happy!

Took me about 9 years wanted one since my brother had one. Realistically, took me about 7-8 months. I was deciding between an evo, sti, b5 s4, or mk 4 r32. Found a perfect, bone stock one owner apex silver evo 8 about 3 weeks ago.
