New Greddy BOV... Thoughts?
Cruisin through the "internets" and came across a new Greddy Type FV BOV
FV standing for "Floating Valve"

Thoughts? Has anyone pre-ordered/ordered one?

. I don't immediately see how the second spring really helps. Is it not just a second spring right between the plunger and valve body? Does the valve body slide?yes appearantly Is it a reincarnation of a hks ssqv?
I do agree with greddy's piston to valve area ratio though. And they tend to make a valve that drives very well. I also set mine to be light on the seat at idle.
Actually it looks like the plunger is short almost even with the valve body and the diaphragm unloads the top spring under normal vac and the boost in the pipe only has to overcome a light spring . Makes sense to me now and seems like you could make a standard type valve into that easily.

I also like the recirc option as the type s didn't lend easily there

I like the fact Greddy BOV has diaphragm style like stock unit, so no need for oiling maintenance of metal piston type BOVs.
I might try this one when my GFB StealthFX is degraded, but it functions well, and I do like this adjustable vent to air ratio feature (Cool sound and minimal impact on driveability in another word. )
