If you buy a jdm ix rear bumper do not buy from mitsubishiparts.net. they shipped mine in nothing but foam paper and it got damaged. It would be a surprise but not the one he nor you would want.

Also i have to ask but you wouldnt happen to have a hot sister around the age of 23 would you that lives in tn?

Do a nice photo shoot with you and the car. That could be cool. No matter what you decide to get him I'm sure he will appreciate the effort you've put forth here.

Yikes! I was just on that site browsing. Suggestions for other places? It seems a little out of my budget but would be totally worth it.

LOL! My sisters are married but I do have cat I can send to you for company

I'm looking into it. I'm reading a lot about the crash beam. If someone rear-ends him, would the car be more messed up because of it?

Would I also have to get a new crash beam to fit the JDM bumper?

I'm probably asking really stupid questions lol

Personally I don't even have my rear crash beam on. If he's handy with a welder and a few tools he can modify the stock one to work fine.

Not only that but even if I were to want to run one I would be more than happy to buy one/build my own if my gf bought me that bumper.

If he is mostly into aesthetics pick option 1, if he likes to buy "go fast" parts,
pick option 2. Hope this helps. Wish I had a girl who bought me stuff for my car.

Option 1: JDM Bumper [best website to order from]

Option 2:Spoolin Up COP [great product]

how about some OEM window visors with some cool carbon fiber products like rexspeed carbon fiber shift knob and hand brake combo? you can get both of them for about 200 bucks. i know it might be "cheapy" compare to your price range, but your boyfriend is abviously into the stance and show part of the evo (as same as myself), and those parts will make a wicked white evo looks super sexy both exterior and interior imo, plus extra money on the side is always good, it pays for the steaks and wine!
