the fastest cars/Evos in World Time Attack's "Pro class" have all been CT9As (they might be 7/8s but are labeled as 9s on the official website) -
1) Nemo Evo 9 1:25.0 (2012)
2) Tilton Evo 9 1:27.1 (2012)
3) Cyber Evo 9 1:28.8 (2011)
4) Sierra Sierra Evo 8 1:29.0 (2011)
CP9As are fast no doubt, and they did win a 1-2 finish in "Open class" in 2012, but CT9As are in a different league
1) Dominator Evo 6 1:30.7 (2012)
2) Chasers Motorworks Evo 6 1:33.4 (2012)
if you want to talk Tsukuba, everyone knows the HKS CT230R (Evo 8) held the record for years with a 0:53.5 and the Cyber Evo not far behind.
the fastest CP9As at Tsukuba are Sun Auto Cyber Evo 6, Varis Evo 5 and JUN Hyper lemon Evo 5 and they've all been in the 55-57s range - none have been faster than either the HKS or Sun Auto CT9As.
CT9A is the chassis you want if Time Attack is your thing
