Hey guys,

I recently ran into a problem...

My brand new evo 5 I just got imported now Has idling issues. It now sputters very badly but idles perfectly around 900rpm but when I give it throttle it makes a subaru boxer sorta sound, We unplugged the MAF..thats not the problem. Ignition etc... But we went to the injectors and 1 out the 4 is not firing right... Could this be a problem?

The car does not run well and we seem to have found that it might be injection...
The car dies if you try to give it more gas, it has a full tank and has low KM's on it.
Fuel Pump is fine.

I guess what I'm asking is in all...
Do parts such as injector and fittings fit on my engine from say evo's 7-9?

I have a buddy who says they all fit, but I need other peoples knowledge on what to do. We have a firm conclusion but I need to know, WHAT PARTS FROM NEWER EVO's EXCEPT 9 and 10 Fit in my evo 5.

The injectors are the same. I had evo 8 injectors in the evo 6.5 and my friend has evo 8 injectors in his evo 4

Bro, you can buy almost everything of evo 8 for your evo 5, all fits without problem! My evo 5 at this time has every part (Engine internals, transmission, ecu, inyectors, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, IC and a few more) of evo 8!
