Cant choose snow/gravel/tarmac once im driving.

The button that switches the modes from gravel to snow has 3 options to choose from, as soon as I start the car it works but then once I start driving it all 3 setting light up green on the speedo and the button doesn't work no more.
Im at a loss so I have no idea how to fix that, anybody else has similar or same problem.

Your ACD is dead time for a new one or rebuild the one you have.

Your acd pump has gone bad. You'll have to get it rebuilt or buy a new one. I have the same issue with my evo 8.

where can I get it rebuilt and how much would it cost on average?

Also is it safe for me to drive it now like it is until I get it rebuilt or get a new one?

It's perfectly safe to drive i believe the car is just running as an open diff now with all the 3 lights on. You'll notice the difference in the snow im sure which is why I want to fix mine before the winter. You can get them rebuilt here http://www.acd-tuning.com/. Or buy a kit and try to do it yourself. I plan on buying a used one and sending it out to them since you can't drive the car with out the acd.

I see that they are in Nashville and im about 3 hours away from them, maybe I can drive down there one day and have them rebuild mine. I just hope it doesn't cost more than a used pump.

The website should have pricing or you can call and talk to him. I used pump may be cheaper but there's a risk of the samething happening. I chatted with acd-tuning and he stated he's never had one fail that he's rebuilt.
