anti lag

anti lag

Hi everyone,

I have evo8 motor in my car. 4g63. Wantig to know about anti lag options and if can be done on standard ecu and if tune required,

There are several Options available for the stock ecu, Check out Tephra Mod in the ecuflash section. This will require a reflash.

Not impossible on standard ecu. I have only had a retune not tephramod and I Have anti lag on a stock VI TME.

Tephra has launch maps, but that's not the same thing as a real anti-lag, assuming that's what OP is looking for.

Stock ecu can do it if you know what you're after. I've compiled 750 + posts worth of data, insight, opinion, theory on this board. Shouldnt be hard to find.

i specifically called AMS and asked.they told me you need AEM stand alone cause stock ecu can't do it.

Right on that's the attitude. If you have an ix it's more familiar to me. Still in development but the ground has been laid. And you can measure your results easily with a maf.

No this a secondary air system. Keeps shaft speed up when decelerating. It's similar to what the newest rally stuff uses albeit not as extravagant.

Just like anything needs tuning to work the best.
