Do you have the same problem we have (Compressor doesn't turn on at idle but works when you start rolling.

I'll try the one bit I found and flash my ECU tomorrow.
Yea, I am having the exact same problem. I still can't figure it out. Keep us posted if the ecu fixes it.

It didn't change anything. All it did was make me have to pop the clutch in order to get it started.

I haven't tried that. I'll try it when I get back from business travel.

I'm on 88591715.

The second poster said he was fine until he went to V7 thats what had me thinking it was an ECU thing.

You guys are all having this issue - do you all still have the stock AC fan? If not, I wonder if there is some sort of relay that does(or doesn't) get triggered with it's removal?

No I'm halfcut/single radiator fan. I don't remember my blue evo having this issue and it was the same halfcut radiator setup with a more inferior ac setup then now.

Another thing to check is the Power at the compressor at idle, If your getting power or not.
If you are then its your clutch not fully engaging until the RPM goes up beacause of centrificle force on the pully.
Check your Rom and see what the AC Idle says too.

Its not getting power at idle. And, after it was engaged at a higher rpm, why would it stop being engaged at idle? Centripetal force would actually hamper it engaging.
