The OBD-II plug has stumped me.

I bought the car and I forgot that I have this plug. Now I have been reading and noticed that there 2 different plugs. One just for data logging, and one for data log and flashing. Can anyone point me in the right direction of what plug this is??
Because if its for data logging, I'm just going to sell it and possibly buy the Greddy Informeter

Thanks

Black plus is for OBD2, white plug (which is near up under the dash) is for flashing. Both need to be plugged in to flash. Only OBD2 needs plugged to read. I leave both plugged in. You will have to get low, usually I just sit on the ground with the door open and you will be able to see it.

I think that answers you question, if not then I misunderstood your question.

Yeah. I guess that pretty sums it up. I leave it plugged into and roll it up and stash it under the radio area. So basically I can flash and tune(if need be). I have EVO scan, but since my computer is JDM it doesn't work. I need to buy a regular computer I guess.

Thanks for the help!!

You should be able to flash it. You will just need to know what rom id/version it is. Post the rom version in tuning section and see if anybody has the info you need to put into evo scan. I had that issue when I first started due to having a weird version on my ecu. They can be swapped to different roms with little work sometimes too, so you can run the custom roms also.
