Seat alternatives

So, I'm bored with my seats. All black car, all black interior, all black leather. Did I mention I live in Florida? Anyways, I'm looking for a good alternative. I want something stock looking, but something that will offset my interior a bit. I was thinking some Evo VII seats? Or may Evo X. Anyone know what the going rate for leather Evo VIII Recaros is in case I decide to sell them, or if people are willing to swap seats?

depends on the condition. $900 for sun-ridden, worn seats. $1200+ for seats in excellent condition (speaking for fronts only)

Good deal. So $1200+ for mine with mint rears. The Evo VII seats are the same as the 8's and 9's, but with a different trim pattern, correct?

You are correct. Same style seat, with different color inserts.

evo 7 seats are much tighter from what I have read. There is a set on ebay right now for sale. Kinda dingy looking though lol.

I have thought of getting s new set of seats lately. I just dont get comfortable in the car like I used to. Maybe Im getting old haha. I dont drive the car much cause its just uncomfortable now.

As for evo X seats. I dont think they are any better. I hate driving m wifes evo x most of the time. Cant sit still cause im so uncomfortable lol.

This all might be cause I drive my camry daily and its a comfy ride haha.

LOL that would make sense. I feel like mine don't hold me much anymore and I'm tired of sweating in the leather even with the A/C on full blast. I've got a friend who's considering trading me Evo VII seats straight up for mine. I was kind of weary of it at first but now I want them.

I would grab them up because they are a pain to get them. On top of the price for them and the shipping then you get customs fees too. Then on top of that the time it takes for delivery and the chance of damage then dealing with a delivery company that isn't in the states.
Mine got to Liege euro hub and they were damaged. Looked like it got shot putted off the truck as they drove by. Replacement got sent and same thing again but survived. Package was just beat up.

I actually have two sets of evo 7 seats now. I'm 5'8" 195lbs 34" waist and they fit me snug.

The Recaro seats from he DC5 Integra Type-R are probably my favorites. They don't look boring and they hold..someone would probably trade SSLs for a pair.
