Big turbo help

Current setup tbe/intake/Dumptube/E85. 380/whp/381wtq. Wanna keep stock motor/stock cams/stock intercooler piping. Wanna throw on a FP black or precision turbo. But is it really just a direct bolt on? Just switch out old turbo put in new? I see the FP blacks come with a 25psi wastegate so I would rather run one of those just so I can break 420on low boost daily driving and have a mid or higher boost for drag strip track days 460whp+. But wanna keep stock cams, piping,an motor like I said.

An FP turbo is stock frame so it's a direct bolt-on. Not sure if a precision turbo is though.

And yea, why stock IC pipes?

I most likely will do a top pipe and new Intercooler. But just wanted to make sure the FP turbos were as easy as take out the old and put in the new.

The lower IC pipe is the one you'll get the most gain from replacing. The upper pipe doesn't really provide any power gains.

What would be better with no lag on stock motor an still give atleast 420 on 93 and 450+ for E85 a FP Green 73HTA Or FP green Ballbearing. Big difference in price.

You are talking about tuning the car with whatever turbo solution you buy right?

For the cost of the BB stock frame offerings you can get a precision turbo thats sized to be comparable for a little more but that not is a direct bolt on (afaik).

Fp red/ black or a MAP EF turbo are what you're looking for.
