act clutch problem

hey I am an owner of a 2003 evo with an act Clutch. The clutch has always had some chatter to it. (which I read was normal?) but now when I am taking off in 1st sometimes there is a clunk sound. almost like something is hitting? it does this probily one out of 5 times. It is just getting me nervous because the clutch only has 5k on it. does it just need to be adjusted or? any help would be appreciated. Btw this is on a daily driver that I have never launched or taken to the strip, Thank you in advanced!

When I give it more gas then normal it won't make the
Noise or it will make it less. But it's not a normal
Chatter it's a clunk.

Are you letting the clutch out too fast? I have an ACT clutch in mine, as well. And if I shift fast, I'll get a nice clunk when I let the clutch out too quick.

Sound like rocks in the tranny, kinda? Mine makes the same noise but my clutch is stock. Ive been told its relatively normal. A couple of my buddys EVOs make the same noise, it basically only happens when the RPMs drop below 1000rpm. None of us really worry about it since none of us beat on our cars and it doesn't make the noise during normal driving condition. We narrowed it down to it being something just vibrating.. IDK but id like to know what the actual culprit is.
