I've seen a couple of stolen evo's com in to our dealeship.
But just the let you guys know I heard through the grape vine that most people who get a car stolen usually can't afford the payments. That's why there's GAP Ins. Trust me it is not very easy to steal a car with an anit-theft unless you have a tow truck (Unless the idiot left his keys in the wrong hands). Think about it, what would be the easiest way of getting rid of a car that you can't afford without skyrocketing you insurance rates.

Looks like it might be a nice base for a track car if you could get it for 5k. Just pull out the carpets, headliner, doorpanels and other interior bits. Sell what you can on E-Bay. Then weld in a full cage. Put in some proper racing seats, pick up a set of light wheels, and patch up the body work. Maybe 5-10k on top of the purchase price.

if you think about it ! its a good deal if you plan to track the car exept for the loss of the headlights
Upgrade FMIC. turbo, bucket seat , rollcage , take the rest of interior out .
get evo VII lights
body work
and rims and tires for the track
build bottom end and head ...

the bronx. haha. that motor looks ok but you'd be naive to think its not blown. same for the transaxle and transfer, most likely dead or near dead. i wouldn't pay 6k.
also notice the "ding" on the trunk lid, its hard to see because its in the middle of a huge ****ing dent.

if you actually think about how much is still on that car $$$ wise. The engine is brand new, the tranny is brand new, the drivetrain is brand new. I mean just a brand new t-case alone is close to 2K. think about....having an extra evo engine around.
