Has anyone ever removed the pulley from the pump? I'm trying to, and I don't want to screw it up. I have a rebuild kit and want to remove the pulley as I'm sure there's a bearing under it I want to try to find and replace.

Nope, never got the pulley off. I still have the rebuild kit somewhere...

not sure of the puller type-- if you can find a tool and see how its done--thinking you can rent a tool at Orielly's if you can figure out what you need.
