Check the fuse at the positive battery connection. It is the 100 Amp fuse.

Also a 7.5 Amp fuse. I think it is under the dash in that fuse box. This is the fuse that is for the ignition on trigger for the armature in the alternator.

there is a white plug that hooks into the alternator, 3 wires i think. That breaks, it wont charge and you WONT get a battery light on.

I had an issue with my alternator plug where it APPEARED like it was connected but I was killing mini batteries. The way we I started figuring the problem out was by letting the car running and touching the wires going to the plug close to the alternator and every time i did the car's idle fluctuated.

If its the plug and the orange piece on the inside of the plug is missing or broke nI can give you a site where i found a OEM replacement.

Check the b+ wire from the alt it's the wire held down by the nut separate from the connector. When I was breaking in my engine my b+ burnt up for some reason and the alt stopped charging. Ran a 0/0 wire wire for a new b+ wire and now the alt charges perfectly. If you test the end attached to the fuse box you should see 12-14v at the ring connector otherwise you will need a new wire. Ideally should b closer to 14v but as long as it's over 13 it's not your problem, if it's between 12& 13v you have too much resistance and I would replace. And that is of course assuming ur fuses and connector are good.

I can confirm this, Had this issue while repairing my Tcase. After i finished my gauges
[overlay to make the dash not show ACD anymore]
I pluged my gauges back in, filled her up with fluids and ran the car, i Got NO battery light and the turbo timer voltage was reading 11.80 an dropping, so i was not charging at all. I thought it was my dash cluster, because with that unpluged it ALSO wont charge while running. turns out it was the plug on the alternator, the tab broke off and it slid down so it wasnt making any connections at all.
