looking for an evo
ive been looking around for an evo 8 or 9 for quite some time now, they're not common in my area so every now and then a dealership would have one but be priced to high, i read about alot of people on here buying their evos with low miles for a really good price, and im wondering, aside from the market place because i check that almost daily where is a good places you guys go to look for an evo, ive thought about craigslist but heard about to many scammers, and so many citys and states to choose from lol. if i could please get some input on where you guys have gotten your evos that would be great thanks.

I used http://www.searchtempest.com
it searches all the craigslist in an area quickly and gives you more options. just when you do find one for sale be ready to jump, Evos never sit around for sale. i called on 5 diffrent ones all were sold, and one add was only 6 hours old.....

I regularly checked Autotrader, Cars.com, and Craigslist within 100~ miles of my area. I had some bad experiences when traveling to look at cars so I waited patiently (well, not very patiently since I dumped a metric ton of cash into my speed because that mod tick had dug it's way in) until a seemingly unmolested evo popped up at a local dealer. Got a terrible deal but the car has been worth it. I also waited about 4+ years before this one popped up, mainly due to financial limitations but it was worth the wait IMO.
