Yes its possible to take the lense from a RS headlight and use it on a GSR non-HID or GSR HID headlight. I have done this before.

the lenses for all the headlights are the same.

the HID evos are different than the non-HID as they have foglights. the gsr (aside from 2003) and the rs headlights are the same

I think the 2003 was the only year to come stock with hids...

Having had the opportunity to play with the halogen and hid headlights on the same car I can tell you that both headlight units work in both platforms.

Putting the HID's in the non HID headlight housing is very very tricky and not advised, better to just keep the HIDs as is, or get a decent HID kit to fit the halogen housing. The lenses are also different, HID and Non HID, took one of my damaged HID lights apart to see if they could be retro'd into the non hid housing.

So yes you can put the GSR lights into the RS, you just will not have foglight functionality but I do recall a thread showing how you can wire the fogs up using relays and what not. I hope this helps.

Arrow

GSR is the fastest one listed go with that and drop a type R engine in and you're good to go. I personally prefer the headlights on the LS.

Aw come on, I get a thumbs down for saying the same thing as sean only fumbling on the headlights? You people are fickle! Fickle I say!
