I'd pry have to get more than what it's really worth lol. It's really rare and meets all the sound requirements for racing. It would be more of a situation where I got an offer I just couldn't refuse lol.

Just go to your local performance/exhaust shop and talk with them. Cut off old muff, add new muff and save a ton of cash and get what you want/need. Its way cheaper then shipping in a new/used system when you already have most of it there.

I fabbed up my own exhaust on my old 1g with a few 3in U shapped elbows for the weird spots so I can still have a nice smooth shape.

There is also the Varex Adjustable exhaust. So you can have the best of both worlds.

Went from a Greddy Ti to a Cobb and I love it. Way way quieter but sounds so nice. Very nice note to it. Looks very clean to with the oval style

RRE Stealth! Even if you are not in Southern California, I'm sure they have shipped off many sets to customers.

I've had mine on for 3 years...full 3inch and is barely louder than stock. It is painted flat black and draws NO attention whatsoever...

Go here...and click on the Evo8/9 parts link on the right side:

Good luck!

List of quiet exhausts I heard in person.

Stock(obviously), Fujitsubo Rm01a(Currently, I have one. It is stock quiet but restrictive), Apexi world sports, Tanabe touring medalion, RRE stealth, Greddy evo 2.

Maybe HKS ti-carbon.

I am really curious about HKS sports. Sad it is mild steel but looks identical to stock exhaust.

Just purchased a varex muffler, it solved everything. Anything else is just a bandaid, install a resonator it will sound ok for a week then wear out. If you have a 3" straight through exhaust you need the muffler to kill out the drone.

Get a couple resonators on that thing. RRE uses a long one and a small one for the loudness.

I struggled with this issue for years. I wound up getting a Varex muffler and had it welded onto my 3" straight-through exhaust. Works great! And, is relatively cheap if you already have a good downpipe and main exhaust system.

MAP sells complete exhaust systems with the Varex:

I have the RRE Stealth. I am very happy with it. It is quieter than my previous HKS Carbon Ti and it looks stock. There was no noticeable performance degradation.

i love my RRE stealth. my car is also tuned by them when i was in cali. you know ur car is in stealth mode when u have a downpipe, testpipe and this exhaust, do a pull from 20 to 60 with an SUV cruiser 2 cars behind you and not get pulled over. i saw the cruiser AFTER doing the pull and was expecting a ticket. maybe i just got lucky.

I've been researching this for over a year. Finally got the cash to dump on one. I'm tworn on either RRE or HKS Sport. Both are about as quiet as the stock exhaust from what I've been hearing and seeing. No cat might make it a little louder as I'll be doing a magnaflow canister in place of the cat to quiet things down and have free flowing exhaust. Mine will be quiet as a kitten.
