Track wheels on street?

Anybody ever have experience with using "track wheels only" on the streets? I'm looking at getting these BBS wheels, but they're specifically for track...Could this mean the thickness of the wheel won't stand up with the riggers of street roads?

Personally I would steer clear of these very speciailized race wheels.

Its likely that they are race wheels only due to the 3 piece design & the constant re-torquing required of the face bolts

Keep in mind 3 piece wheels have a gasket sealer between the wheel face & the barrel so air leaks are possible if everything is not correctly seated or torqued

A lot of Porsche owners run these on the track & you know how an@l they are

With that said, it probably OK to run them on the street as long as you dont beat on them too much

Curious if they fit w/out spacers

They would be fine as long as you never hit a bump or pothole in the road. The barrels will be thinner than road wheels and therefore much more easily bent.

You should be fine depending on the tires you plan on using. Any wheel will have issues if the tires don't have enough sidewall strength. I ran racing wheels and tires all the time on both track and street applications.

My Enkei RCT4 wheels have "competition use only" stamped on the lip and Ive used them to drive on the streets with no issues. They aren't 3 piece wheels though so not sure if that matters.
