Angry *sigh* rims stolen off my evo

I'm sure this is the 4,325th thread about an Evo owner who got his rims stolen but here's mine. Woke up this morning to my car sitting on cinder blocks.

I live in a high rise in Chicago in Lakeview and a public parking lot is adjacent to me. I parked there last night.

Here is the before and after. If you guys see any BBS rims being sold in Chicago and one of the rims has a bit of curb rash, they might be mine.

Of those 4325 theft post I think 4000 of them occurred in Chicago. People must not like to work for their money there. I'm sorry this happened to you and I hope the scumbags that did this get caught.

Everybody is thinking it...I'll say it. Where do you think Obama's morals come from?

But back on topic...sucks to see this happen, and there's not much one can do about it. Wheel locks are just as easy to take off as well. If the scumbags want the wheels, they'll find a way to take them off.

Sorry to hear man...

Scumbags!

Sorry dude, at least they are fairly cheap to replace.

damn man, sorry! You should etch or dremel a little i.d. mark on your next set. If it happens again and you find them on Craigslist you will have no doubt they are yours...just a thought.

I do feel for you op, but I mean..an evo just sitting out in the open like that for a long period of time is just asking to get something stolen. That's just the world we live in. I'd take this as a lesson.

I was very tempted to put that in my post, but figured it wasn't a good time to bring in politics.

Yeah, lesson learned for sure. Dammit I'm a little pissed because I was planning on garaging it prevent this from happening but my garage pass didn't kick in until January 1st (me being a cheapass and not wanting to pay full price for half a month)

My sister mentioned the same thing (Mechanical engineer background and owns a 240sx to drift). I was lucky the guy just was eyeballing my rims and nothing else.

More than likely it was just some crackhead looking to make a quick buck. Most of them are not too bright
