Nope, It does not have an SR20DET
But costing that amount to build, certainly is not the same car as your beloved BNR34 out of the showroom is it?!

"The car was recently valued by Wheels magazine at $1.3m, but cost $700,000 to build in 1992. It is powered by a 2.6-litre 24-valve DOHC twin turbo straight six rated at 640hp, but was detuned under the original CAMS regulations to 450hp to keep it competitive."

Lol.... I knew full well the outcome. I do plan on getting an account on a subie forum and checking into it, but I know what I'm looking for. Evo's are harder to find, going away potentially (from what I've heard and seen, need to look into it more), better looking (subjectively), and truly what I have wanted since I was 16. 10 years of lust= a big, word that rhymes with toner, for this car.
I stated it in a previous post. I'm looking to get some insight from evo owners and just talk about better times. Deployment and all, it's important for me to look forward to something/distract me. I have a wonderful wife to come home to, but I can't/don't want to give her any more power mods. A ring/me is sufficient. Lol.

I do have internet. Just not like I can use it at will. I will try and keep checking back no less than monthly, but it's mission/internet dependent. If we could please keep it on topic I would appreciate it. I learned a lot about skylines (which I adore), but since those are a bit out of my price range it is a bit irrelevant. Thanks guys.

im not certain about the STI.
But with the EVO IX, its annoying that it does not have seat height adjustment, just back and forward.
I assume the STI should have this.

Depending on how tall a person is… a seat height adjustment should be, provided by the manufacturer.
Dunno why mitsubishi overlooked that part

im 5'8" and i would like to lower the seat as i feel its too high… but i can't (obviously). Unless i spend big bucks on new seat rails etc etc, which would be pointless
