It all depends on my mood or more importantly my wifes mood. Shes usually pretty cool when I want to buy go faster parts. As far as the seat height adjustment that everyone was talking about I am 5'11". It would be nice to have, but I can live without.
***Still have to go checkout the Subaru site yet. I am procrastinating it, but I have many months until I come back so not too worried.***

i think the jdm sti's are pretty good however the usdm sti's just have issues left right and center. my pick would be evo.
on my 06 sti i kept breaking the motor mount thats attached to the firewall. i thought it was pretty annoying.

If you want go fast parts for a Subi you have to virtually buy double of everything because of the boxer engine. It's also a pain in the *** to work on.
It comes down to personal preference. Most Subi guys I've met only care about aesthetics.

Thanks for keeping the thread going guys. It's nice to check and see the comments. This country really does make me so grateful for ours. So, my mind is pretty much made up. I still have a good chunk of time to be here, but if you guys run across any good deals post the link or pm me.
I need to start doing more research on mods and what I want exactly. Take care guys.

I've owned every US Evo 8, 9 (still own) and 10, and I've also owned a hawkeye STi. I always preferred driving the STi as everyday ride than the Evo, not quite sure why, maybe because of the softer suspension and IMO slightly better interior build quality. But test drive them both and see what you like more. Both are kick *** cars and I think there needs to be more brotherly love between Evo and Sti guys.

I have to say before I bought my 2 that I also looked at subies. Nice cars, but totally different character; subies are way more relaxed I find. Dollar for dollar, evos have more performance/potential but are also more involved cars to drive and live with. Not own, but live with. Bear that in mind :P
