The key should never be able to be pulled out like what you explained. My best bet is that your key cylinder is messed up. The tumblers inside are now junk. I advise you to remove the turbo timer (Not really needed in my opinion) and replace the key cylinder. You might want to check the ignition switch also. Oh, key cylinders can be ordered OEM from any dealership and it will come with a new key. You will have to program the new key to your vehicle. Good luck, I hope this helps.

When you pull the key out is it in the OFF position? Sounds like it isn't....Put your key back in and try and gently wiggle it to get it to go to the off position.

Your ignition may be worn and the combination of your key bitting and wear could be causing this.

Will it let you turn the cylinder to the off position?

Thanks for responses guys. I'll go check if it's actually in the off position but I am pretty sure it is. I'm thinking this is turbo timer related because just yesterday everything worked fine, and the timer now won't even turn on.

+1 and did you use a premade harness or did you splice into the OEM harness?
