The market seems to be taking a dual trajectory. We have heavily modded, multi-owner cars with high mileage depreciating steadily and well-maintained examples on the other side of the monetary ladder. I believe that as long as the automotive industry keeps churning out numb, lifeless products there will always be a market for a machine that delivers a direct and focused driving experience. Doesn't look like anything is bound to change anytime soon.

Just bought a IX SE for 23k. 83,000 miles. Has a cat back and double din deck but, the previous owners kept, and gave me, the factory exhaust, radio and trim pieces. They gave me a folder with service records since it was bought. I figured that I would never find an Evo that clean, and basically stock, for the rest of my life, so I jumped on it.

the Evo X is build and assembled a same place as any Evo before. There were a specially made plant to made Evos, there is 0 difference between there.
If any Evo is as you claimed less % then others made in Japan, that is usually the Tires and batteries cause of it. But I doubt.

My 2008 and 2014 GSR windows sticker and parts as I touched so far 100% made in Japan.

Pleas show me where you got that info where the X is less then 100% made in Japan and why?

Thanks

the Last EVo made rolls out the same factory building as any Evo, they even made movie about it lol

ok then what I said, they don't use either japan manufactured tires and batteries and other accessories. That is usually the 7% which wasn't manufactured in Japan.

But a car still made and assembled in Japan in the same factory. My car (both X ) are 100% japan.

I don't honestly know what changes they made for 2015 to not using Japan made product on the car. I do think they come with Yokohama tires etc too... so I have no clue .
Maybe the stereo system , etc.

Let me know if you found that one out

Any how as you saw it and look it up the last Evo is made and build in the same plant as any evo before. Its a fact.

Need to find one driving around and not for sale. I know of a few guys that bought new kept stock and use on a limited basis.

Younger folks buy mod get eyes for another and sell

I found a bone stock 2003 Evo 8 with ~75k miles in good condition. Is it worth 15k? I'm having a hard time deciding between this or a new WRX.

The decreasing percentage I mentioned originally is a fact as well, and it will likely continue.
