You have other issues going on here. 91 gas for one draw back.
The stock IC is good for 400+hp and its dead winter---thats not going to improve HP for you.
The cams as someone pointed out could be the problem. either you dont have S2's ( my guess) or you have cam gears and they are way off- ( unlikely) If you have gears post what you have them set on. Pull the stamped numbers off the cams and search the web for what they are.
Make sure you get to a reputable tuner--
Good Luck.

He said they are GSC 272's which are not the S2's. HKS 272 are not aggressive cams but may drive nicer. I have the Kelford 272's and the power is very noticible coming from the stock cams. i think you may have a tune problem though. Try a new tuner?

Yep, i know what he said, gsc 272 rt... Didnt know they made a 272, cant find it on their site. Kinda why I asked him to post up or search the cam stamping so we can figure out what he has because his answer is consistant with gsc offerings. Hell the S2's are 274 as posted earlier in this thread.

yeah. the 272's are old school. if i remember right, the S1's although are 268's have higher valve lift than the old GSC 272's. Also, i think the GSC 272's are comparable to the HKS 272's.

ok guys thanks for all the help. but this is my second tuner the first one just pull 279whp with stock engine at 24psi but with the same Cams the second tuner pulled 310whp but this time I put too many mods, but now I will buy a new set of cams that will be my last shot to see, too many people here and from the outside telling me to switch the cams, they say that there is the problem on the cams. Now which set of cams will be good for my car? I was thinking in Kelford 272 thanks

i am running kelford 272's and they have great road manners. i have heard GSC S2's do better than the Kelford 272's on the evo 9. really cant go wrong with either. maybe even check out the M2's?

This. My IX boost felt great but still found two leaks using air compressor and homemade fitting. Did you perform this type of leak test?
