Don't listen to them, they'll probably give u the crappiest **** on the market. If they do actually guarantee free good quality tires, get it in writing.

Get 'em. Sell 'em. eBay.

Read the fine print and find out what you have to do in order to qualify.

I have the "tires for life" certificate. The make and model tire is typed in the fields: Yokohama Advan blah, blah (can't remember our tire model). It does say the tires won't be replaced if there is abnormal wear. Well if you don't bring them in until 10k-15k which is supposed to be the lifespan (not exactly), they need to replace them.

My friend who is a serv mgr at Mitsu told me the EVO (and the Corvette. They own a Chevy dealer as well) has been excluded because the tires wear quicker, well I got a certificate that says nothing like that.
Worse comes to worse I'll pay for new tires. Getting them for free is just a bonus.

Most free tires for life deals require that you perform all scheduled maintenance at the dealer. All my local mazda dealers offer this with the restriction that if you're even one mile over, then the whole thing is void. Versus doing a lot of the scheduled maintenance yourself, free tires for life probably works out to be more or less the same price.
