Question,

This idle dip issue if you experienced this and according to everyone says its tune related

Could it be tephra related? Or would the speed density work better for this solution?

Im changing out my intercooler due to a hole.

If that doest work i will try replacing the iac valve.

And if that doesn't work its for sure 100% tune related with a throttle body

I don't see how my issue is tune related. Why would it do this occasionally like 20% of the time and run perfect and idle perfect 80% of the time? That doesn't make sense.

Because the way the ecu is written is just basically a crap ton of values of load and temp and a bunch of other factors that the ecu refernces to tell it how much fuel and everything is needed. So when its doing it its referencing a certain value of rpm vs load vs iat vs blah blah blah which tells it to close the iacv to this value which is wrong and causes the car to drop rpm, or spray too much fuel or too little fuel, then corrects itself. So the values that cause the issue in the tune aren't always what your car runs at so it doesn't always present the issue. That's the basic gist of it.

Ok so when we mod its not just fuel, rpm, load, and timing columns but everything else needs to be tuned according to whats on the car.

Is this what your saying? It seems like when its stock it eill run but everyone on here of course modifies the car

Not everything but I have seen people change a lot of other tables to compensate for the mods of course keep in mind I am no ecu guru, I just know the basics of how it works not what exactly must be tuned in each circumstance.

Ill have to look, maybe if you have a stock size turbo it should be fine

I have a 25g turbo so im wondering if I should compensate the stepper tables and idle portion
To prevent it from dropping. Ill have to experiment and see
