Thumbs up For ish and giggles

To know the background of my car: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...-evo-shop.html

So over the next several months I'll have to start making decisions on what to do with my car.

My goals would be 600+ whp that handles.

I don't care if it is loud and obnoxious sounding either.

I had a Tanabe Concept G Blue exhaust on my 1st and loved its sound.

So I'd probably at the least want that muffler on the car.

So here is where you guys come in, if you were building a 600+ whp evo what parts would you go with and why?

And before anyone says "search"...look at how long I have been on this forum. I am fully aware and have tons of ideas about the route I may go but just thought it would be interesting to hear all of you guy's thoughts.

I'd build it around an ef4.

Ok, why would the ef4 be better than a HTA35r .63 on pumpgas?

Honestly, 600+ is the top end of the EF4's capabilities. The up side to going EF4 is primarily budget related in that you can use a stock frame manifold, downpipe, oil lines, etc. If you're looking to exceed 600whp significantly I would recommend something like these:

Chris, I see you are a vendor.

Could you explain the differences between the turbos you have suggested to the HTA I suggested?

Honestly, I'm not too familiar with the FP turbos being that we do not sell them. Going off of the 35R nomenclature I would say that it will perform similarly to a 6262 or 6266 from PTE.

My buddy on here cursedsm has the ef4 I have the ef3. I would go with map. He is making over 600 on stock block. e85 of course. But it is a great turbo. It all depends on how much your spending. Stock frame turbos will be the most cost effective way. Good luck!

If you are using pump gas an HTA3586 can smoke an ef4 and I am a huge ef fan (see sig.)

Fuel choice plays a huge role in this decision. If you want 600 on pump an ef4 probably won't get you there. I think the most I've seen was 525 on pump, someone correct me if I am wrong. The HTA3586 can get you well into the 600s with the right set up on pump.

Thanks doober.

Anyone have any other parts besides a turbo they would go with, since I think I have decided on the HTA35r?

Provide us with a parts list and we can tell you what we may change or upgrade. Fmic, piping, cams, injectors, dual pumper, etc is important when trying to hit 600

FMIC - I'm thinking a BR race or an ETS 4" (both being their kits with piping)

Cams - Thinkning the GSC S2's will work

Injectors - Not sure which ones

Dual pumper - thinking BR one

Exhaust - any 3" piping and I'd like to have the tanabe concept g blue muffler

Clutch - I already have the exedy twin hd

I'd like to upgrade the trans and transfercase while at it.

Also want to upgrade the suspension and rims.

Also, would you go ported stock intake manifold and tb or an aftermarket one?

So that is some of what I have thought of.
