It looks mint from what I can see in the pictures. Minor mods. Check the car out like you would with any other car. Test drive it and see how it feels. Pull the car fax on it. For 70,000 original miles and for what he is asking, I'd say that's pretty fair.

Besides all the standard stuff (oil leaks, etc), see if the T-case whines when you drive it, make sure trans is in good condition. See if the 60k maintenance has been done, and what other maintenance has been done.
Lastly, see if he's had a tune with the current mods he has.
All around, car looks real clean, with a couple tasteful mods, looks like a good deal.

If your really interested in buying it find a running shop near you that would check the car over everything might charge you but rather be safe then sorry then having he's issue. Also hard to say by pic if it a good deal like people saying drive it listen for any little thing.

Alright so I looked at the car and it was squeaky clean and we agreed on 16k so I believe its a good deal for the milage…..Also when I test drove the car it spooled quite nice and went drove flawlessly and the paint was in MINT condition……but the first thing I am going to do it the timing belt and water pump…..any other words of advice????

It looked like it was done and looked new but I'm going to replace it just to be sure

Looks nice to me and it clean condition. Take care of that black and represent us fellow Tarmac black owners well(mines in crap paint condition lol) keep in mind. These cars are needy. Have some money saved before you jump into modding. DEF take it to a tuner near you to have it run over for boost leaks/compression and leak down/ and to do atleast a base tune to make sure all is in good running condition. It can save you a lot in the long run. I bought mine a year ago and have literally only put about ~3k miles on it because I didn't have fund I case anything happened. Now that my car has been tuned and checked over its a weight off my shoulders. Good luck.
