Question 4,5,6 x-reference to 8,9

I'm looking for a at least mildly comprehensive list of engine parts that can cross over from the US 4g63 out of the 8 and 9 back to the japanese 4-6 4g63. seals, sensors, hoses, belts, gaskets, etc. Really, anything would be helpful. I've ordered a few things out of australia, but it takes a good amount of time and shipping leaves something to be desired.

Does anyone know if a list like this is out there?

I am aware http://www.nengun.com/ has some parts too, but most of it comes from overseas too and that's about the same as the aussie parts.

Thanks!

Thanks Pak. That is mostly what I was looking to hear. Timing belt, headgasket, cam seals, valve cover seal where the things I was mostly looking for.

I appreciate the imput Rage. I'll look into the cost of some second hand 8 cams. I was looking for some 264's. That might be a cheap alternative though.

Also, what oil filter are you using? Is there a USDM one that's interchangeable? Maybe a 96-98 4g63 from a DSM?

i just installed an evo 9 intercooler and licp into my evo 6 its not a straight bolt on affair the intercooler had to have a new center bracket made and i had to cut the middle long bracket on the licp. i didnt get the uicp from a evo 9 but i dont think that would bolt right on either i just had fabbed up a new pipe for the cold side of the intercooler and connected it to the existing rubber pipe that leads to the intake manifold. the evo 9 intercooler is slightly bigger than the evo 6 unit about an inch or so longer so is the piping which was surprising. i also fitted a 8 recirculating valve. next time im back in the states im planning on picking up a couple more evo 8/9 pieces as im slowly updating my motor and suspension ill keep adding to this as i go along.

4/5 same housing and steel pipe , 6/7/9 same housing and steel pipe, 8 different housing/steel pipe also the head is different (coolant by pass pipe fitting)
4/5/6/7 same water pump , 8 different pump .

4/5 oil filter housing has smaller banjo fitting 16mm , 6/7 have 18mm , you can use 6 to 9 oil filter housing and cooler on a 4/5 with some minor alterations to brackets and blank the oil switch hole.

you need the bigger cam sensor cyl and bolt to use 7 onwards cams in 4/5/6
