Question about my motor
I have a 2.4 4g64 10.5:1 motor. I had it taken to a shop recently and they o-ringed the head and put on a fresh head gasket (cosworth). The guy doing the work and tuning it said while it was on the dyno the fuel pressure reference line ruptured and the car went lean. He ran a compression test and got these numbers : 170 170 150 150 and then a leakdown and got these 55 55 55 35 in cylinders 1-4 respectively. He thinks the loss is coming from the crankcase.
The issue is I'm not anywhere near the shop. I blew the head gasket while in Florida visiting my mom right before moving to Germany. The shop came recommended by locals. I have no idea of what is going on with the car.
Thoughts? Ideas?

Hi Rick, I would link up with Kevin and get his opinion. Thinking that you are very close to 10% compression variance--not sure thats its that big of an issue or not. Worried that someone thinks its the crank case causing the issue when the compression issues are rings or valves--now they may leak to the crankcase but the crank case isnt the cause. Good luck.

Well, Kevin and his crew were able to get a compression test done on the car, and so far he says its good, showing 145,150,145, and 140. its not heating up like it was for the other place in florida. hes going to do spirited runs with it and let me know what he finds. once everything is finished the car is going to be retuned with 2150cc fic, and i will be posting a thread about this whole ordeal. i did not appreciate the way this shop did business with me, and my biggest mistake was trusting them. i should have sent the car back to kevin immediately. i didnt think it was financially possible at the time

unfortunately the motor is toast. thanks to the shop using 10/40 in it the oil pan had debris in it. so now a rebuild is needed. im really pissed about this. im going to be preparing a thread about this shop so that this way no one else makes the same mistake. i spent 1600 with them, + an additional 100 for a tune that was not done and ended up with a blown engine. i will be posting pictures and video of this issue as well.
