Square thing on dash under review
Does anybody know what the little square thing is on the dash under the rear view mirror right by the windshield does? It looks like it pops out or something but i don't want to mess with it.

I tried searching too but couldn't find it. thanks

Most likely where a light sensor went for a lancer or evo of a different market than the US which had auto-headlights or perhaps automatic climate capabilities.

For these car its just s plug maybe in another market it used for automatic lights most run wires from there gauges

Ryan is correct; the center piece there is part of the Automatic Climate Control system off the UKDM and JDM cars
