Weird "2 step" problem?

so all 4 wheels off the ground, trans in neutral and see if the wheels roll?

Yes, the wheels should not move while in neutral and in gear.

Having it in neutral will show you nothing. You need to have it in 1st gear with the clutch fully pressed when doing the test.

I had originally told him to put it in first and check, but then another person posted that their wheels are moving in neutral out of gear and made me question my memory. I edited my posts back to recommending to put it in gear so not to spread false info.

I wonder why his is doing it in neutral? Very strange.

im gonna do as instructed in the video (turn rod, check at trans) then do the wheels in the air this weekend. Thanks

Yah that is wierd. No idea what would cause that.

I read up more on the topic last night and apparently, through some sort of dark magic, this happens to every type of engine/transmisson, especially if it is cold like it was the day I finished my clutch. I cant explain it because I read like 5 pages about it, but basically with everything turning in the trans and no resistance on the wheels, the axles have enough friction to turn.

i thought the proper way is to go until boost starts and once there then WOT (2 step)
