Weird "2 step" problem?

Car hits 2 step as it should for a few seconds then revs out the the limiter. This is at a dead stand still. Car has been boost leak tested twice. 2 step is set to 5k. Thanks

yah you should only be giving it enough gas to bump the limiter you dont wanna be WOT on the 2 step. You only go WOT once you are launching and taking out the clutch.

I didn't think it was supposed to matter if it was WOT on the stationary...

It's called a stationary rev limiter. My car is stationary so it limits the RPMs. Seems pretty straight forward to me. I feel like I have heard about this before. Let me try and find an old thread for you.

Connector at the clutch.. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...rev-limit.html

User codgi gives some tips and links also on page 2 of this thread. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...limiter-2.html

Seems like either its something inside your rom or the clutch switch for the most part

I always go WOT when doing my 2-step. Never had an issue. Can you post up a pic of your settings?

Why wouldnt you go WOT for 2 step? Thats the point, to get the turbo spooled up. I dont know about you, but I dont spool my turbo at 1/4 throttle...

Very interesting on the comments that say to only hold the pedal in far enough to hit the 2 step.. in for more opinions on that.

you go WOT as soon as you start letting out the clutch and you have all that boost. No problem ripping the tires like this so i dont see how you could do any better on the street.
