Ways to increase car performance

What is the best way to increase your car performance? I heard a lot about ECU remapping, rototest and performance remapping. Are these implementable? Will it help me enhancing my car's performance with the same old engine?

1. By buying something other than the Kia Optima you have listed.

2. By throwing up and/or lose weight before every race.

3. If you own an Evo refer to the two sticky threads already posted in this section you created a thread in:

and

4. Run underinflated tires for extra cornering grip.

5. Put stickers on they usually add a ton of horsepower.

Doesn't Kia Optima have the option of the 2.0L Turbo that is similar to EvoX 411B?

So I'm going to play nice so we don't all come off looking like smart asses.

In the end an engine is an engine. Any time you can get more air & fuel in & out the more performance you can get. This is why some, not all, aftermarket air intakes or exhaust systems can help improve performance. Having an ECU that can better read, or be tweaked through tuning, will help as well.

There's a billion other things can help which is why after God created man, man created Google. If you believe in such things. Good luck.

I can't believe the power the Evo stock block can take.

I'm spooked nearing 400 in my STi. How reliable is 500?

I know... It depends, but average?
