They have some pretty sick evo's at Xtreme Motorwerks in IL.

They have like 9 evo 9's and a whole bunch of evo 8's.

Here's one of the many they got in.

Portland OR. Illinois. Why are you looking at cars in such random areas?

Too much money. I paid less for my MR with fewer miles.

Some anecdotal advice - every time I've bought a cheap example of a car, it's been a headache. Every time I've bought a nice example of a car, it's been a pleasure to own. Don't cheap out, start with the right car. There's nothing more frustrating than having a bad example of a good car - it's so frustrating to know that it's capable of so much but being held back.

Yeah but sometimes their priced higher for a reason. It's probably a well maintained car otherwise they'd be asking cheap to get rid of it. They have a whole bunch more on their website. Xtreme-Motorwerks.com

Don't buy rebuilt tittle Evo! You will end up spending more to fix jacked up stuff than if you get one off a LEGIT used car lot WITH a warrantee. I know this because I ignored all the people who told me this and bought a rebuilt Evo. I had spent enough fixing it that I could have bought a legit one and juiced it way up. DONT make the same mistake I did. I'm still paying for it, four years later.

As demon suggested, if your true budget is 200 a month on. Just the payments then I'd forego the idea of an evo right now. Think logically and go with a reliable car until you find yourself with a bit more cash. You won't have to be a millionaire to own an evo, though it would help! I would hate to say everyone telling you maintenance ain't cheap is absolutely not trying to bust your *****.

200 + insurance + 300~ month for gas+ possible maintenance or the unexpected.

Get a b6 audi slightly modded and in about 2-3 years you can sell it with whatever you managed to save and buy a nice evo because you thought it right this time around.

It's an honest opinion from a guy who owned 2 evos, went to college during the first, has 3 kids and only made decent pay.

My job pays for my current evo so I don't have to worry about that!

Yeah, how is his bill so low??

My gas bill is at least $175 a week...

But then again, I just rolled 340,000 on Grandpaevo yesterday..

OP: you can get one, I have found a lot around the 7-8K range, just that they either need a transmission or engine.

Even if you can, you probably shouldn't. Wait until your financial situation improves.
