Timing Belt Install - Stumped
Alright, So i have installed my new timing belt/Water Pump/Balance belt.
Every thing was At TDC but when i check my timing every third turn the cam gears look like they are off 180 degrees.. I think it is ok???? But i just want the comfort of the confirmation from the members lmao...
So is this normal or did i somehow **** something up???
Overall the rest of the job was easy.
Btw Every 6 Rotation Everything aligns at TDC.. Looking for some quick responses so i can finish this bad boy up.
Thanks Guys,
Kevin

The cams will only align every other rotation due to the difference in teeth between the cam gears and the crank gear.
One crank rotation = 180 off cam gears
Two crank rotations = cam gears aligned
Three crank rotations = 180 off cam gears
Four crank rotations = cam gears aligned
Five crank rotations = 180 off cam gears
Six crank rotations = cam gears aligned
Oil pump is smaller than crank and will align 3 different times throughout 2 full rotations. It will only be "perfect", meaning the mark is aligned and the balance shaft phasing is aligned once every 6 rotations.
