Previous owner
I would like to find the previous owner of my evolution ix gsr. The reason being is that the dealership I had bought the car from told me that the car has been to ams in Chicago and had a tune full exhaust, head studs, and a clutch. I would like to know what kind of clutch it is so I can figure out if it's rebuildable.

Pop the lower inspection round dust boot off and look in with a light. Should not be that hard to at least check the brand and get a part # by turning the engine over with a ratchet.. That’s how i found out i had an act clutch.
Anyway, if it’s not a twin there is not anything to rebuild.. If you have a twin or triple it should be way obvious when your drive it by the chatter sounds it makes. About all you can do on a reg clutch is replace the disk and check for cracks/run out and step height on the flywheel/pp. Parts just get replaced.

Or you can pop the boot off around the clutch fork and look in through there, either way will work. But I can guarantee you that you wont have much luck by just saying you have a gsr, there's quite a few of those, posting pictures of the vehicle may get you closer to finding the previous owner.
