Ok dude. Your coil connector, when you disco it and look at it in the connector itself, left pin is signal, middle is ground, right is power. Check them. You should have 12vdc sitting at the plug with the key on, ground to the frame somewhere. You can check continuity of the signal wire, out if you want or, you can meter the signal as your cranking..

im getting 14vdc and 0.03 for signal using the middle as ground when i plug into the coil connector.
i also checked compression, pistons 1, 2 3, and 4 are 135, 135, 125 and 135.
while doing so they also filled up gas, so fuel still checks in fine.
im in the process of removing the viper alarm that was installed 5 years ago. im also cleaning some corroded connectors that i found on the lower side of the driver panel.

car is still dead, sigh.... i re-ran the coil 1 and 2 wires straight from the ecu to the coil packs. only coil 1 is giving a signal, coil 2 is blank. that being said im only getting spark in 2 plugs which are 1 and 4. using a multimeter i checked signal from the ecu, pins 10 and 23. 10 is putting out .04v key on, and 1.1v while cranking. pin 23 is putting out .04v key on and .04 while cranking, but as soon as you stop cranking the it'll jump to .07v then go back down.
i dont know anybody here with another ecu so i bought a used one off of ebay thinking it was the problem but it wasnt.

is there anything that would keep one ignition coil signal from firing?
remember my signal wires are coming straight from the ecu right now.

Looks like you might have to bite the bullet and take it to someone who is good with these. I know your problem would be getting it there though as it's not mobile.

Wish I had any words of advice for you but I don't. Good luck figuring it out.

I had a similar problem, except mine never started after it died initially.

Found out quickly that my crank bolt had backed out some and the trigger disc ate the sensor. Replaced the sensor yesterday, going to button it back up all the way today and see what happens..
