Spun B/S Bearing, 2.0L Build.
I spun a balance shaft bearing and need to pull the engine. So, I figured I'd do my best to do a build that I can. With that being said I'm planning on building a 2.0L now and not a 2.1Destroker that I originally planned on.
This is my first build so bear with me guys. I have read countlessly on here lately though.
I don't have plans for any major horsepower. I was making about 390bhp & 370Ft/tq and had fun with that, but I wouldn't mind making roughly 450-500hp range. I'm sure that my CBRD BBK will hold me back from making anything crazy though or so I've read [but I love it, especially for a street DD Evo].
Fuel: Mostly 93 Pump w/ alternate E-85 map.
I just need your guys opinions on the parts for the build. I am planning on going with the following:
*A friend went a different route with his build so I lucked out big with the price that he's giving me on his Manley TT Rods + Wiseco 1400 E-85 pistons.
Wiseco 1400 HD E-85 10.5:1CR (.020 over) Pistons
Manley TT I-Beam Rods
Repolished OEM Crank
ACL Bearings
ARP Main/Head Studs
OEM Front Case/Oil Pump
BSE (STM stubby shaft)
Kiggly HLA
Funding will determine if it'll be a long or short block build.
Possibly:
Valves, springs, retainers, kiggly HLA

S%#T, I didn't add those in this revision (had to retype it all)
But thanks man! It seems like this is a tried setup that makes power provided it's done correctly.
