Hta 71 with stock 10.5 hotside
Can I use the stock 10.5 hotside with the hta71 I bought? Or is the inducer wheel larger?

Yes the original hta71 used the 10.5 hot side from an evo 9 turbo but they changed it to increase spool but lowered top end.

When did they change it? The turbo I bought was in early January in there garage sale listing. It's jb.

HTA 71 has a stock turbine wheel so it will work with a stock 10.5 hot side. Nice turbo for the 400whp range. Quite possibly the best.

It even says on their website they now use a 9.0cm hotside call me crazy but that isn't the stock 9 turbo 10.5cm.

I believe they changed it some time last year why? I have no idea.
