Over some time ive noticed my engagment point get higher and higher,(closer to me) would that be a sign that I need a new clutch soon? Or could I just need an adjustment?

it does mean your clutch disc is wearing thinner, but that doesn't mean you have to change it yet.

Usually when I measure mine I still got plenty of meat even though it feels thin.

But yea, I always get my next clutch kit ready well before I need a new one, pretty much try to get a new one as soon as I install a new one lol.

You'll probably need a new clutch kind of soon though.

Load up your car with people. Get on the highway and give it gas in fifth, if it slips you need a new clutch. That was the first sign i got that my clutch was done.

I agree, I even took out the rear middle seatbelt so less people can fit into my car.

The heavier your car the faster it's going to wear out your clutch.
So if you want it to last any longer, don't drive around with a packed car, and when the disc is thin the pressure plate has less clamping force too, so it's prone to slip when heavily loaded with a thin disc.

Also make sure you warm up the car sufficiently before driving, the clutch disc seems to have a better coefficient of friction when hot. A cold winter day could cause some slip for me on a thinner disc, but once warm it feels normal.

Yea as suggested try 5th with a good amount of weight in the car and like a solid half throttle or so. Watch for the rpms to go up independent of the mph. Then just adjust your pedal. So simple. Takes not even 5 minutes, loosen the jam nut behind the clutch pedal, 11mm i believe, then turn the rod by hand one turn or a half turn then test it. Once you engage at half way tighten jam nut done. If it takes you more than 5 minutes you are doing something wrong

Definitely check your pedal adjustment and your fluid level. If necessary bleed the system and check for improvement. If nothing improves the try the people method as suggested.
