Evo IV "Bogging" Issue
So i just bought a 1997 EVO IV and its having a weird issue.
At random times when i shift up and press the gas the car starts to bog and "put". Doesnt want to accelerate properly...I can slam the gas pedal to the floor and just puts. But once I completely left off the gas then re-press it, it seems to be fine. It just periodically just "puts" when i switch gears then accelerate.
Only thoughts i have came up with were:
-Air flow issue?
-Fuel filter?
-Fuel Pump bad?
What is everyone else's thoughts on this and what do you guys think I should do?

Probably best to use a logger and check sensor values, cause you say it behaves normal most of the time, so the logger will record it and you can look and compare the values and try to see what's going on while the bog occurs.
It could even be a faulty throttle position sensor, when they completely go out, a car can't do much more than idle without bogging everytime you press the gas.
