Considering Selling - Talk me in - Talk me out

If you can afford it, buy a cheap beater like an old civic. It'll use half as much gas as your evo and you can put the gas savings towards fixing up your evo.
I did it about 6 years ago and I still daily drive my old civic, turning 310k today. I have a 70 mile round trip commute so the gas savings is over $150/month for me. Maintenance on the civic costs pennies compared to the evo and it's painfully easy to work on.
My evo sits in the garage and only gets used for fun. I couldn't imagine selling it, I'd never find another one that wasn't beat to crap.

keep it! i will put mine for sale later today because if i want a house i NEED to get it off my credit. A house is a priority for me, but honestly i hate having to sell the evo at least you have options i really don't but i have to be mature during these times. hopefully i can get back in a evo ix again in a year or less

At one point, I had an extra car on my policy with minimal coverage and it was only an extra $20/month.
