So I thought I fixed it today, found the ground wire at the intake manifold not even in the connector. The end of the wire was bare and just leaning up on the connector. Got about 3 starts on it and same issue. At this point I think I'm just going to replace the ignition switch.

I forgot about this thread. The previous owner had installed an aftermarket alarm system along with a turbo timer. The turbo timer was removed but the harness was still wired in. I had always wondered if the alarm was causing issues since the wiring under the dash was terrible. So I decided to take a few hours to remove the alarm system and the newly discovered turbo timer harness.
Since the removal I probably now have 70+ consecutive starts with no issues. The alarm was also causing a parasitic draw as that is no longer there. I removed so much electrical tape that my car should easily pick up a tenth in the quarter lol.

Cool that you fixed it. When people tell me they are having intermittent starting issues, my first two questions:
1. Does it have a turbo timer?
2. Does it have an alarm?
One of those are usually the culprit LOL
