Help Me Choose A Best Turbo
#18
Now I have the DBB Red and S2's.......stock block as well and everything ported/other supporting mods. LOVE it.......tuned on 93 now but will probly get on E85 pretty soon. Not at the magical recommended "400 WTQ" right now but the E85 will quickly bridge the gap. Well good luck with your set up and trust me you will love the Red.

Another thing. WHY do you need 600? Do you have any idea how much that truly is? Go hop on a liter bike and go full speed. After you realize how scary that it, and how pointless it is on public roads, rethink it. I want around 600whp also but I never drive my car. I've also been in high HP cars. After being in my dad's c6 z06, I'm starting to feel like I'd prefer ~500whp more than 600. Just a thought. I think you'll enjoy a red/black on e85.

If your planning track I wouldn't bother with a stock frame turbo(red/black/ef3/BBQ full). You'll end up using less stress(psi) to make more power with a t3/t4 setup and after all is said and done you will be around the same in money spent. ETS t4 twinscroll 6266 kit.

This is definitely not true, there are quite a few stock block FP Blacks making decent power. On E85 with an aggressive tune any of the turbos you mentioned will make enough power to pop a stock motor. If you want 600whp you really need a built bottom end. I made 453/452 with on Black, 93oct, with stock bottom end. Put 52,000 miles on it before pulling it and swapping in a built motor.

I'd go for the fp green for an enjoyable daily driven withy he occasional spirited driving.. Red as a weekend warrior with occasional daily and black as weekend / track beast

Be a leader not a follower Borg Warner s300SX3-60 is the best turbo for the money! with the money you save on the turbo you can buy a twinscroll header. I recommend .91ar for E85, or 1.00ar for gas. More air than a GT3582R, and faster spool than a HX40. FP black not even close. They all have Inconel turbine, 4340 shaft, these turbos are awesome quality not sure why more people are not using them. cant go wrong with this turbo.
