That being the case, i would just buy a car and remove and crate the engine/trans and ship them separately. Chances are you would need to import that stuff anyway.

I recommend buying a stock car versus buying a rolling shell. Although the initial investment of buying a shell is cheaper, in the long run you'll spend more buying replacement parts than the cost of a complete car.

Welcome from Barbados, I have lots of family that lives there. I know the fees they charge to bring a vehicle over is rediculous but keep in mind like others said, it may not save you that much in just buying a shell after you factor in all the parts and labor. Are you going to be wrenching yourself? If not is there anyone down there familiar with Evos?

The best bet is to buy a complete car that has a blown motor or trans. Then you have everything and it is easier to keep track of what you need. There are less surprises that way.

Also cores are very expensive.
