Hi Guys,

Ive just installed the AMS intercooler:

As you can see, there is not enough clearance between the lip and the intercooler to fit the tray.

Yes, as advertised. It does mention that "slight" modification / Trimming of the tray may be required. And i have been made aware.

(to be honest, it appears to require more than just a "slight" trim)


has anyone with this set up ( AMS 3.5" w/ OEM under tray) performed this already whom can share their experience?


Id like the know what the easiest option / trim would be. (pics would be great. As they say, "pictures are worth a thousand words").


Also, would anyone here have the AMS 3.5 w/ e.g Beatrush / LAILE alloy under trays? If so did it require any modification?

result: Not very glamourous.

appears that "Slight" is an understatement.

the tray feels a lot more flimsy due to a large piece missing.

So does anyone have an alloy tray with after market FMIC?
