1) Have you contacted them to either discuss the situation or cancel the order?
2) Mitsubishiparts.net. Good people.

i dont think lancershop actually carries anything. they simply just direct your orders to other distributors. if you want a oem jdm ix rear def get it from mitsubishiparts.net

Driveline Motoring is a possible option.

marginally off topic... I still don't get why so many people use lancershop. Their prices are consistently 15-50% higher than everyone else and for the most part they just drop ship or order then ship to you once they receive it. Its like carparts.com affiliates all over again, but expensive.

Russell at www.mitsubishiparts.net has the best deal on OEM JDM rear bumpers! I got mine from him and the tow hook cover, smashing deal!

Hello,

Thank you for your recent purchase at Lancershop.com!

We do have your JDM Rear Bumper in stock and ready to be shipped but unfortunately the amount of shipping in order to do it is $ 400.00.

We would need to collect an additional $200.00 in order to get your order processed and shipped out.

That was the email i received...i have since got a refund and have purchased a bumper through Mitsubishiparts.net for an overall cheaper price. i discourage anybody from dealing with lancer shop

a lot of negatives popping up about lancershop. Its made me very reluctant to order through them. Mitsubishiparts.net has gotten all the rave.

I'd wager you over paid on 3 out of 4 of those orders too. You can buy stuff from them and not have any problems, but if (for example) you are buying an alternator they have a $100 mark up over their competitors (including dealers), that is still a reason to shop elsewhere.... whether they shipped it with no problems or not.
Jacking prices up like that is insulting to your customer base and a perfect example of the tactics required when you operate a business that acts as an intermediary, ordering parts for you like a concierge of sorts.
If anyone is interested, I'd be more than happy to order parts for you from other shops and then have them shipped to you for a $100 fee.

+1. Stick to MAP/Buschur/ETS/STM etc etc. The evo community is lucky enough to have many great vendors.
