Please help! Fuel pump issue

So I have an issue I cannot figure out. My fuel pump won't kick on.... I checked the power it's getting power ... It also is directly hardwired it's the AEM 320 .... So I checked all the fuses there all good, checked the relays all good, took the pump out and put it directly to the battery to my surprise it kicks on ...... So it works directly on the battery yet the power is also good threw the car but dsnt turn on when in the gas tank .... I'm baffled by this and could really use some help. Anyone else ever have this issue ...or have any input ideas to fix this

It jumps from 12 -11.6 and back and forth

So it has near regular voltage at the hanger connector?
If the pumps not turning on Id suspect the connector that plugs into the top of the pump.

Not very common that those get disconnected but if youre seeing voltage at the connector to the pump hanger, but the pump is not powering on, the connector on the top of the pump has to be the issue. Unless its an issue witht he pup itself

You have to pull the entire hanger to access this connector

But I guess what should be asked is,

Is the pump relayed from the OEM wiring on the hanger?
Or is the AEM controlling the power to the pump?

Iv pulled the entire hanger out and ran the fuel pump directly to the battery it worked .... I also ran it directly to the hanger with the fuel pump connected and It barely kicked on .... Don't no if it could possibly be the hanger itself ? I bought a new fuel pump gna see if that works

The hard wire kit it attached to the oem harness the relay stems off that power but it's getting power from those wires and that relay is kicking on so I assume that it has nothing to do with any type of wiring issue

use a meter to test the pigtail that plugs directly into the pump.

So the relay uses the OEM wiring for signal?
And then the fuel pump has an external wire coming from the battery, going through the relay?

Id check the relay out, maybe theres some resistance in there causing an issue.

Theres not a whole lot to investigate here lol
